  • Our Row by Row kits are always about our little island - a gem in the northwest corner of Florida just south of the Georgia border.  We have a long history of shrimpers, pirates and flags of nations that have owned us over the years, all of which we try to reflect each year in our row.

  • 2017 focuses on being On the Go! to the beach -  on your fat tired bike, in your cool retro camper and in your woody car with your surf boards...of course - with planes flying over head reminding you to visit Lollipops Quilt Shop!
  • 2016 was all about the eight flags of nations that have claimed Fernandina Beach (Amelia Island) as their each little beach house is made out of fabrics depicting the ownership - France, Spain, Britain, etc.  and Blackbeard the Pirate's stamp is also here - thus the ships wheel with calico jack the pirate flag on the wheel...
  • 2015 highlights our famous Shrimp Festival, which happens each year in May, celebrating the shrimpers who still work out of Amelia Island to this day.  I grew up with some wonderful families who were shrimpers out of Ft. Myers and making this little quilt for our row remembers them fondly.
  • 2014 was our first year in the Row by Row program.  I wanted people to have a true keepsake of our island and so the words Amelia Island are appliqued to the row in bright batiks to showcase it.  of course, who doesn't want to drive their bug on the beach to collect seashells and enjoy our beautiful beaches.

Collect one or all and make your own quilt about your visit here on the island - or if you live here, then how fun to make a row quilt or pillows for your guest room or bath...
