Lollipops Designer Bindings

The standard bias we sell is what is called 1/2 inch millinery fold - it is cut 2 inches wide on the bias and then folded and pressed by machine for a precise 1/2 inch finish. If you have never seen millinery fold, it is what is typically sold in the store in packages but also typically in cheap fabric and dull colors. We reinvented the 'wheel' so to speak and have reproduced the packaged bias with two major improvements - 1) it is made with high quality DESIGNER FABRICS - fabrics we all love to use in our quilting and sewing projects and 2) it is rolled so there are NO crease lines...for quick finishing to you quilt projects, your sweatshirt remakes, to trim denim jackets and kids clothes, our Lollipops are a terrific edition to the finishing touches that will make your work look professional and unique!

To search for bias that matches your quilt or sewing project, you can :
* scroll down through each page OR
* go into the search engine and type in a color (red, black, pink, etc.) OR type (flowers, check, gingham, stripes, etc.)OR
* if you know the manufacturer, search by the drop down menu along the left hand margin and select the fabric maker - such as Timeless Treasures or P&B Textiles

In most cases, we only show the fabric swatch but not the Lollipop itself - our home page shows you how they are packaged - all are identical except those made especially for Loralie Designs (TM)

Welcome to Moda’s Stitch Pink Quilt Along (QAL) Oct 2020!

Each day during the month of October, we will post a new block
for you to download and make in honor of Breast Cancer
Awareness Month.

The incredible creators at Moda designed a beautiful sampler quilt
that you can make for a 💗 one that is currently fighting her battle with breast cancer; for a friend who you wish to encourage; for a local charity that you want to donate the quilt to, to raise $$ for the fight against breast cancer.

For me, cancer ♋️ Has become deeply personal - with a very good friend of mine not only recently overcoming uterine cancer, but now dealing with breast cancer.   I am making this quilt on her behalf to donate for auction for the breast cancer cause.

As many of you know, my shop closed earlier this year when I announced my retirement...however, we closed earlier than I had hoped because of the Covid.  I continue to sell online and through FB Lives twice a month to sell down the last of my stock...

When I saw this quilt from Moda, I just knew this was a great program for October...so I will create my own version using all the pinks we have left over from our shop - and there are a lot - because I 💕 pink!

Each day I will post MY version of the Moda Grunge block - because while I love Grunge - and who doesn’t? (Mary, my sister, fellow quilter and former business owner RIP thought it looked dirty when I first brought it in to the shop - next thing I knew she was selling it to everyone lol!)...
I also like 🌸 and prints and so my blocks will have Kaffe, Tula, Art Gallery, Pat Bravo, some Grunge, Free Spirit, Fairy Frost and loads of other designers who adore pink as I do...the background is Moda Bella Solid - white.

These will all be pre-cut according to the instructions UNLESS I indicate otherwise - like I use the quick and dirty method of making flying geese with the Tucker Trimmer to make them perfectly...I may use Accuquilt dies for some cuts - anything to make this easier for you to complete the block - if I can.

Best of all, each block will only cost you $5...you will download the pattern on your own - but you can buy the blocks from me.

I am only creating seven sets...one for me and six more for anyone who wants to join in...
I hope to see your blocks on Moda’s IG page...#ModaStitchPink
